Indonesia mencatatkan sejarah setelah berhasil lolos kualifikasi piala dunia U-17 2025 untuk pertama kalinya. Kepastian tersebut langsung dikonfirmasi oleh AFC dalam laman resminya.

Sebelumnya, Indonesia juga memperoleh
kemenangan setelah mengalahkan Korea Selatan dengan skor 1 – 0. Dua kemenangan
ini membuat pasukan Nova Arianto bertengger di posisi paling tinggi klasemen
grup C dengan skor 6 point, dan memastikan lolosnya Indonesia ke kualifikasi
babak Piala dunia.
Selain Indonesia, Qatar, Arab Saudi, dan
Uzbekistan juga menjadi tim Asia yang telah dipastikan lolos kualifikasi Piala
Dunia.
Timnas Indonesia U-17 pernah lolos babak
