Beberapa hari ini terjadi beberapa kebakaran di kawasan Danau Toba. Paling baru, kebakaran terjadi di tepi Danau Toba, tepatnya di seberang pulau Tulas pada pukul 18.00 WIB, Selasa (27/5/2025).
Pemadaman api tergolong sulit karena suhu
sekitar Danau Toba yang meningkat akibat musim kemarau. Angin kencang juga membuat
api semakin cepat menjalar.
Selain itu, akses jalan ke lokasi tergolong
sulit karena daerah tersebut tidak berpenghuni. Sulitnya akses membuat
kebakaran masih terjadi hingga pukul 23.00 WIB, terpantau dari live Tiktok
@partaigoceng.

Silangit, Gatot Rudiantoro menjelaskan bahwa kemungkinan kebakaran terjadi di
kawasan Danau Toba semakin besar akibat meningkatnya suhu di musim kemarau.
“Kita sedang memasuki puncak musim kemarau,
yaitu di bulan Mei dan Juni. Musim kemarau meningkatkan suhu permukaan tanah,
dimana suhu di Samosir dikategorikan kering dengan rata-rata 20-24 derajat. Ini
bisa menyebabkan mudahnya terjadi kebakaran di kawasan Danau Toba.” Ungkap
Gatot
Menurut data yang ia peroleh, kebakaran
yang terjadi akibat percikan api dari alam sangat kecil kemungkinannya terjadi.
“Kalau percikan api dari alam biasanya itu
dari pohon dan ranting-ranting yang kering, yang bergesek dan akhirnya
menimbulkan api. Tapi sementara ini dari data yang saya peroleh,
gesekan-gesekan itu belum memicu kebakaran.” Ujar Gatot
Ia menambahkan, topografi tanah di daerah Samosir
dan sekitarnya adalah tanah lempung dan berpasir, bukan batu bara. Kemungkinan
alam untuk mengakibatkan percikan api sendiri sangat kecil.
“Jadi, bisa dikatakan kebakaran di kawasan
Danau Toba terjadi karena Human Error.” Katanya
Sebelumnya, kebakaran juga terjadi di bukit
Singgolom, Minggu (25/5/2025). Kebakaran disebabkan api yang menjalar dari
bakaran sampah warga.
Gatot mengingatkan untuk mewaspadai
meningkatnya titik-titik panas, yang mudah menyebabkan terjadinya kebakaran. Ia
juga mengingatkan masyarakat untuk menjaga berbagai penyebab kebakaran huan dan
lahan, termasuk pembakaran sampah.
“Di musim kemarau ini, musim kemarau
menyebabkan wilayah kita potensi kebakaran hutan dan lahan semakin besar. Mari
bijak dalam melakukan pembakaran-pembakaran sampah, supaya dijaga jangan sampai
asap yang ditimbulkan api dapat tersebar luas.” Pungkasnya
